The European hospitality industry is a key player in the food chain, serving millions of meals to European consumers.
This important position gives to the sector a major responsibility in delivering a high level of safety and ensure that clients can safely enjoy culinary experiences in hotels, restaurants, pubs and cafés across Europe.
HOTREC is therefore a pro-active actor in all EU discussions on food safety and is in constant dialogue with EU institutions and policy-makers about the various aspects of the EU food safety and hygiene policy to help designing and implementing workable solutions for all hospitality businesses, while delivering on this fundamental public policy objective.
